When I first saw Men in Black, I instantly fell in love with all the cool props, my favorite being the neuralyzer. Searching for a functioning neuralyzer became a personal quest, which in turned led me into the hobby of prop collecting. The toys they had available were junk, so I turned to more high quality replicas. This was back when (the now defunct) Icons was still around. They had advertised they were making the Noisy Cricket and Tri-Barrel blaster. I wrote them to inquire about the possibility of making the neuralyzer, and they responded saying they indeed had plans of making one. I paid in full to reserve one, and months later Icons filed for Chapter 11. I never saw my money or my Neuralyzer.

I continued my search and found two very reputable prop makers who made their own version of the Neuralyzer. While each piece had its own appeal, neither one really captured, what I felt, was the essence and functionality of the Neuralyzer.

That was until Master Replicas came along. They were granted access to the original, screen-used pieces from Sony in order to create the most accurate replica to date. They offered this piece as a dealer exclusive and at a great price considering how small and complicated this piece is. I feel MR did a spectacular job in replicating this piece, and I hope they continue to offer more of the MIB props.
